The April 6 youth movement in collaboration with the Suez youth for change have organized a protest against the sectarian violence that took place in Imbaba, and called the youth forces to national unity.
Accordingly, hundreds of youth participated in the protest and demanded unity in order to defeat the anti-revolutionists. Moreover, the protesters cheered, “Muslim, Christian….One Hand”.
Particularly, the activists organized visits to several churches in Suez reinforcing the harmony amongst the Muslims and Christians of Suez. Finally, the Suez youth demanded a speedy trial for the policemen accused of killing the protesters saying, “Vengeance, vengeance, for they shot us with bullets”.
